Sayyed Abdul-Malik: Palestinian Tragedy Spans 77 Years, Not Just One Week

The leader of the Yemeni revolution , Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi confirmed on Thursday that what the Palestinian people are experiencing in the form of a continuous extermination war for more than 600 days represents an extension of a 77-year-old ordeal, warning that regional and international silence has encouraged the Israeli occupation to escalate its crimes.

This was stated in a new speech by Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, in which he addressed the latest developments of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and regional developments.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said, “The Israeli enemy deliberately targets children and displaced persons at night, using hunger and starvation as weapons against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip,” adding that “the aid distribution plan overseen by the occupation is nothing but a farce aimed at managing and engineering hunger, humiliating the Palestinian people in degrading queues for meager amounts of food.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik accused the United Nations and some international organizations of complicity in this humanitarian crime, affirming that accepting the “Israeli” aid distribution mechanism constitutes a blatant violation of all international charters and human rights.

On the targeting of the health sector, Sayyed Abdul-Malik said that the Israeli occupation continues to bomb hospitals and health infrastructure as part of a clear plan to displace the residents of Gaza and completely empty it, pointing out that what is happening is “an ethnic cleansing operation aimed at ending the Palestinian presence.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik spoke about the escalation of Israeli attacks in the West Bank, from killings and abductions to the construction of new settlements and the destruction of Palestinian property, adding that “the Zionist settlers are burning crops and attacking Palestinian homes in an organized effort to Judaize the land.”

Regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi revealed a “well-planned scheme that has been ongoing for years, targeting the foundations of the mosque through 27 tunnels dug beneath it,” warning that “the southern wall of the mosque is now threatened with collapse due to the continuous excavations,” describing the repeated incursions by the occupation as an “attempt to impose a Jewish character on Al-Aqsa and erase its Islamic identity.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said, “The Israeli targeting of holy sites is inseparable from the aggression on Gaza; rather, it represents ‘a link in a long chain of hostility towards the message of Islam, manifested in the settlers’ offensive chants against the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him,’ holding the Arab and Islamic silence responsible for the occupation’s continued crimes.”

He warned against attempts to separate the Palestinian cause from its Arab and Islamic context, affirming that “Zionism does not only oppose Iran, but opposes all Arabs and Muslims,” attacking the normalization voices that “seek to portray that there is no enmity between “Israel” and the Arabs, while the truth reveals a racist and existential enmity towards the entire nation.”

“What is happening in Palestine should not be seen as something distant from us, for the enemy is present to do to our children what it does to the children of Gaza,” he said.

In another context, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi reviewed a part of the military operations carried out by the Armed Forces in support of the Palestinian people, explaining that “this week, our armed forces launched 14 ballistic and hypersonic missiles and drones at Israeli enemy targets in Jaffa, Haifa, Ashkelon, and Eilat.” He also confirmed that “the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden remain closed to Israeli ships.”

Regarding the Israeli aggression on Sana’a International Airport, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi emphasized that this “will not stop the Yemeni operations supporting Palestine,” affirming that “the conditions of war will not deter Yemen, neither the people nor the government, from fulfilling its sacred duty towards the nation.”

He pointed out that Syria’s resources are being bombed and destroyed by the Israeli enemy, just as Yemen’s resources are being targeted. “However, the aggression against Yemen comes while Yemen is in a position of honor.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, in his speech, touched upon the anniversary of the occupation of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), emphasizing the necessity for Arab regimes to benefit from this anniversary and the Israeli enemy’s failure to adhere to the agreements reached, by occupying new parts of Jerusalem and desecrating Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He praised the resilience of the Palestinian people and resistance, emphasizing the necessity for Arab regimes to support the Palestinian resistance, which will yield counterproductive results in favor of the Palestinian people.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, in his speech, referred to the defeat the United States suffered at the hands of Yemen, citing testimonies from American leaders and officials, the latest of which was the statement by the US Vice President, who said that the United States cannot engage in a war against Yemen indefinitely.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi concluded his speech by urging five Arab and Islamic regimes to stop commercial cooperation with the Israeli entity through the Mediterranean Sea, noting that a large percentage of “Israeli” goods come from those regimes
