Today, Sana’a International Airport will receive ten UN flights after it was prepared to resume flights.
Sana’a International Airport Director Khaled Al-Shayef told 26 September Net that after the runway was rehabilitated and maintenance work on the damage caused by the Zionist aggression was completed, the airport will receive ten UN flights, including five arrivals and five departures.
Al-Shayef added that in the days following the Zionist aggression, the airport witnessed intensive work around the clock to complete maintenance and rehabilitation work at Sana’a Airport, making it ready to resume civilian flights.
Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Ayash Qahim had previously confirmed that the airport had been rehabilitated by dedicated national cadres who were able to complete the restoration, maintenance, and technical and engineering works within a short period of time, including the airport’s various terminals and the runway.
They demonstrated high efficiency and the ability to overcome challenges under difficult circumstances.
