A British website confirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces have humiliated the US and forced President Donald Trump to declare surrender after exhausting all power options against Yemen, to no avail.
The British site “UnHerd” published a recent report detailing the circumstances of the American surrender and Yemeni superiority.
It stated that when the Yemenis imposed a naval blockade in response to the aggression on Gaza, it was considered definitive proof of the US’ declining power.
The report affirmed that American attacks under both Biden and Trump failed and achieved no results, noting that despite Trump’s extensive use of the US military’s most advanced and expensive weapons against the Yemenis, his attacks ultimately ended in surrender once again.
The site commented on the situation, saying that the Yemenis have exposed the decline of American power and humiliated the US, stressing that Washington’s era of military dominance is nearing collapse due to the ineffectiveness of airpower and the lack of alternatives to compensate for this shortcoming.
It highlighted that the lessons from America’s assaults on Yemen are grim — air warfare is no longer effective or cost-efficient.
It pointed out that the US deployed half of its aircraft carriers against Yemen and spent vast sums on missiles and ground attacks, noting that Washington used six B-2 stealth bombers, but none of it produced any results.
The site also noted that the US withdrew munitions and air defense systems from the Pacific theater to support its military operations against Yemen.
In conclusion, “UnHerd” confirmed that the US failed to establish air superiority in Yemen, and its attacks were conducted from long distances using costly missiles. It added that the US relied on drones, dozens of which were lost, and failed to secure accurate reconnaissance to strike its targets.
In a major strategic miscalculation, the Trump administration’s military campaign against Yemen in early 2025, meant to crush the Yemeni Armed Forces and assert US dominance in the Red Sea, ended in costly failure.
Initially designed as an extended, multi-phase operation involving airstrikes, targeted assassinations, and even a potential ground invasion, the campaign faltered within weeks. Despite deploying advanced aircraft, carrier groups, and billions of dollars’ worth of weaponry, the US failed to gain air superiority or disrupt Yemeni resistance, which downed multiple drones and continued maritime attacks unabated
Washington’s sudden halt of the campaign, without consulting Israel, coincided with a dramatic escalation: a Yemeni ballistic missile strike on Lod Airport in occupied Jaffa and the loss of a $67 million fighter jet. The administration announced a ceasefire mediated by Oman, effectively acknowledging Yemen’s resilience and deterrent power.
