A wave of panic has spread among Zionist settlers after many reported receiving mysterious phone calls featuring harrowing sound of captives screaming in terror from the Gaza Strip, according to Israeli media.
“Israelis reported receiving recorded voice messages overnight Friday and Saturday of hostages pleading to be released and sounds of explosions in the background,” the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
The calls, which came from unidentified numbers, used recordings taken from a propaganda video released by Hamas in May, featuring captive Zionist Yosef-Haim Ohana and Elkana Bohbot who are currently being held in Gaza.
The Hostages and Missing Families Forum released a statement saying that its members had also received the voice messages and that the forum was not behind the recordings.
