Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from the genocidal Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip has risen to 55,362 martyrs and 128,741 wounded since October 7, 2023.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) on Sunday, the Ministry said: “65 martyrs (including 8 recovered martyrs) and 315 wounded arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.”
The Ministry explained that the number of aid victims arriving at hospitals over the past 24 hours was 26 martyrs and more than 117 wounded, bringing the total number of livelihood victims who arrived at hospitals from areas designated for aid distribution to 300 martyrs and more than 2,649 wounded.
It indicated that the death toll and the number of wounded since March 18, 2025, has risen to 5,071 martyrs and 16,700 wounded.
It pointed out that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the streets, and that ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
