President Mahdi Mohammed Al-Mashat affirmed that Yemen will confront and oppose any American involvement in aggression against Iran through all legitimate means.
“We will instruct the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to submit a memorandum to the United Nations, notifying it that we are closely monitoring the preparations and readiness of certain member states to join the Israeli entity in its aggression against Iran,” President Al-Mashat said in a statement. “We have every right to take this stance—on humanitarian, religious, and moral grounds—and it is supported by international and regional charters as well as Yemeni law.”
President Al-Mashat called on all Arab and Islamic nations, along with peace-loving countries around the world, to adopt a similar stance rather than wait until they too become targets.
He stressed that when some states abandon their responsibility to uphold international peace and security—and instead become direct supporters and participants in aggression in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran—the only viable response is for nations to unite in a strong and principled position.
He warned, “The fire will spread to every country if we do not act collectively to stop the arrogant powers and their schemes to violate the sovereignty of nations.”
President Al-Mashat reiterated that Yemen has always maintained a consistent and principled stance: any hostile act targeting any Islamic country will be met with opposition and resistance from Yemen.
He further warned that if the United States joins the Zionist entity in its aggression against Iran, it will bear full responsibility for the consequences.
He confirmed that the Humanitarian Operations Center will take necessary measures in accordance with Yemeni law.
He concluded by emphasizing: “Anyone who takes part in or supports Israel in its aggression must bear the consequences of their decision.”
