Residents in the occupied province of Hadramout continue to suffer due to the failure and corruption of the aggression’s mercenaries, along with escalating infighting among them.
Citizens along Hadramout’s coast, particularly in the city of Mukalla, are enduring an unprecedented and suffocating electricity crisis, with power outages reaching record levels, sparking widespread frustration.
Locals report that the city is now under a harsh blackout schedule, with electricity cuts lasting up to six consecutive hours, followed by just two hours of operation before another six-hour outage.
They emphasized that this extremely short supply cycle fails to meet even the most basic needs of the population, worsening their suffering amid soaring temperatures.
The prolonged outages have severely impacted daily life, from damaged electrical appliances to difficulties in food storage, as well as disruptions to commercial and industrial activities.
The occupied provinces are already grappling with dire living conditions due to skyrocketing prices caused by the illegal printing of currency, which has collapsed to unprecedented levels—exceeding 2,900 riyals per US dollar.
