Mass Rally In Sana’a Commemorating Martyrdom Of Imam Hussein

The capital, Sana’a, witnessed a mass rally on Sunday afternoon, marking the martyrdom of Imam Hussein ibn Ali, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad.

Speaking to the Yemeni crowds , Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi stressed that honoring the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) is first and foremost an act of solidarity with the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and a reaffirmation of the enduring legacy of divine guidance and moral leadership for the Muslim nation.

He also stressed that Imam Hussein was not merely a historical figure but the bearer of a cause—true Islam, which builds justice and peace while confronting submission and distortion.

Sayyed Al-Houthi warned that the deviation from core Islamic principles left the Prophet’s grandson abandoned in Karbala, surrounded by betrayal and silence.

“Today, the atrocities committed against the Palestinian people—especially in Gaza— amount to genocide and demand a serious moral and religious response. The Muslim world must reject American and Israeli tyranny and to rise with faith, rejecting complicity or submission,” Sayyed Al-Houthi highlighted.

Despite the hardships and sacrifices, Sayyed Al-Houthi affirmed that the cause is sacred and worthy of every struggle.

“The path of dignity and freedom is the only honorable and secure choice—unlike surrender, which exacts deep spiritual and material costs.”

Sayyed Al-Houthi reaffirmed the Yemeni people’s commitment to this path, rooted in their faith in God’s promise of victory.

He pointed to a growing regional awakening—from Gaza and Lebanon to Iran, Iraq, and Yemen—where “the descendants of the Ansar continue their faithful march.”

Al-Houthi reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering adherence to the Quranic mission, centered on upholding the Quran, raising the banner of Islam, and embracing the Islamic duties of jihad, enjoining good, and forbidding evil.

He also reiterated Yemen’s firm stance in supporting the Palestinian people and confronting the Israeli and American regimes, which he described as the gravest threats to Islam and the entire Muslim world.

He warned that the Zionist project is inherently aggressive and destructive, targeting both faith and life, and must be resisted through the unity of the region’s free peoples within the Axis of Resistance.

Meanwhile,  the participants emphasized that the Yemeni people draw strength, determination, and resolve from Ashura, following Imam Hussein’s example in resisting tyranny and global arrogance, particularly from America, Israel, and their allies.
