President Al-Mashat Reaffirms Commitment to Free Navigation—Except for Israeli Entity

His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, reaffirmed Yemen’s commitment to ensuring freedom of navigation for all, with the exception of the Israeli entity and those supporting its aggression against the people of Gaza.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), President Al-Mashat said:

“We have no intention of targeting anyone not involved in supporting the Israeli entity. We have even established a humanitarian operations center to coordinate with shipping companies out of our concern to minimize harm wherever possible.”

He added, “All shipping companies must comply with the instructions and decisions issued by our armed forces. Those who choose to ignore them will bear the consequences.”

President Al-Mashat advised all parties to avoid engaging with assets linked to the Israeli entity, warning that “our growing and disciplined forces will continue their operations aimed at ending the aggression and lifting the blockade on Gaza, in accordance with international law.”
