US Approves $510 Million Arms Sale To ‘Israel’ As Gaza Genocide Enters 21st Month

The United States government has given its approval for a $510 million weapons sale to the Israeli regime, reinforcing Washington’s military support as the regime’s actions in Gaza, characterized as genocide, reach their 21st month.

The sale, sanctioned on June 30, includes over 7,000 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) guidance kits. Specifically, this comprises 3,845 KMU-558B/B kits intended for the BLU-109 bomb body and 3,280 KMU-572 F/B kits for the MK-82 bomb body.

The US State Department affirmed its commitment to “Israel’s security” and considered the deal to be in the US national interest to support “Israel’s defense capabilities.”

Last March, the Pentagon announced that the State Department had approved the sale of $2.7 billion in munitions and equipment, divided into packages that included companies such as Rebcon, Boeing, and General Dynamics. A deal to sell Caterpillar bulldozers and other equipment worth $295 million was also approved.

In February, the administration of the former US President Joe Biden approved an $8 billion deal for artillery shells, missiles, and various bombs.

The United States is one of Israel’s most prominent arms suppliers, especially during the Gaza War, sending thousands of tons of weapons and ammunition.
