20 Palestinians Martyred As Aid Truck Overturns in Gaza

A truck carrying humanitarian aid overturned on Wednesday in central Gaza, killing 20 Palestinians and injuring dozens more who were gathered to receive assistance, according to medical sources.

Palestinian sources reported that the accident occurred as a large crowd of civilians, desperate for food, tried to get humanitarian aid amid the severe crisis caused by the ongoing blockade and conflict.

The sources noted that the aid truck overturned after Israeli forces allegedly forced it to enter through an unsafe route.

This tragedy highlights the dire situation in Gaza, where the search for food has become a life-threatening risk.

The incident brings the total number of people killed while seeking aid to 1,568, with 11,230 injured, according to yesterday’s reports, which documented 52 deaths and 352 injuries in similar incidents.
