foreign ministers of 31 Arab and Islamic nations have deemed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements on achieving a “Greater Israel” a threat to Arab national security. Netanyahu is currently sought by the International Criminal Court as a war criminal.
The ministers condemned the statements by Netanyahu, which were reported by Israeli media, concerning “Greater Israel,” calling them a grave disregard for and a flagrant and dangerous violation of international law.
They also condemned in the strongest terms the approval of a settlement plan in the “E1” area by extremist minister Bezalel Smotrich, as well as his extremist and racist statements rejecting the establishment of a Palestinian state. The ministers considered this a blatant violation of international law.
The foreign ministers of the Arab and Islamic countries, along with the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, reiterated their rejection and condemnation of the crimes of Israeli aggression, genocide, and ethnic cleansing.
They stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and ensuring unconditional access for humanitarian aid to halt the systematic starvation policy that Israel is using as a weapon of genocide. This, they emphasized, requires an immediate end to the deadly Israeli blockade on the Strip and the opening of crossings.
The ministers held Israel fully responsible for the consequences of its crimes in the Gaza Strip.
