6,000 Students Graduate from Mobilization Courses at Sana’a University in Public Display

Students at Sana’a University held a rally, showcasing over 6,000 graduates from the third phase of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” qualifying courses. The students, under the slogan “We carried arms as we carried pens, in a holy war for the sake of God,” paraded from the university gates to the main square.

Carrying Yemeni and Palestinian flags, the students chanted slogans of freedom and condemned the “genocide and starvation crimes” committed by Israeli forces against Palestinians in Gaza, which they said were supported by the US and met with international complicity and Arab and Islamic inaction.

The rally demonstrated the students’ readiness to join the fourth phase of escalation and engage in the “Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad” against Israel. They affirmed their commitment to confronting Israel’s attacks on civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, describing them as unprecedented crimes.

The participants expressed pride in the praise from Abdul-Malik al-Houthi for the university’s role in mobilizing students and fostering a spirit of jihad. They also declared their full support for the Yemeni armed forces’ decisions and their announcement of a fourth phase of naval escalation against Israel.

During the event, Sana’a University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukaiti congratulated the graduates and emphasized the university community’s heightened responsibility amid the ongoing aggression and massacres in Gaza.

He asserted that Sana’a University is capable of carrying arms in the name of jihad and supporting the oppressed, fulfilling the vision of the revolution’s leader, who commended university members for holding both knowledge and weapons.

Dr. Al-Bukaiti stressed the need to support the Palestinian people, who are facing a war of extermination and starvation. The rally was also attended by Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar Al-Bukaiti and other university officials. It concluded with a poem by the university president’s cultural advisor, Abdulsalam Al-Mumayaz.
