Five Palestinians were martyred and others were injured on Sunday in Israeli shelling and gunfire in several areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian sources and ambulance crews, one civilian was killed and others were wounded while waiting for aid near a distribution center north of Rafah in the southern part of the strip.
A medical source at Al-Awda Hospital added that three civilians martyred and others injured by Israeli forces while waiting for aid near the Netzarim axis in the central Gaza Strip.
In addition, a woman was martyred in an Israeli shelling that targeted a school in the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City. At the same time, Israeli warplanes carried out a raid near Al-Shafi’i Mosque in the same neighborhood.
Local sources reported that Israeli artillery shelled several areas east of Gaza City, while residential buildings were being demolished in the southern part of the city.
