“Friday of Rage”: Palestinians Call for Mass Marches to Protest Genocide and Starvation

Public calls have continued throughout the West Bank and the occupied Palestinian territories for widespread participation in today’s “Friday of Rage.” The demonstrations are a protest against the ongoing starvation and genocide facing more than two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

According to the Sanad News Agency, the marches will begin after Friday prayers, starting from central mosques and squares in Palestinian cities. In occupied Jerusalem, the march will start from Al-Aqsa Mosque and other mosques across the city. In Ramallah and Al-Bireh, the demonstration will set off from the Grand Al-Bireh Mosque, and in Hebron, from the Al-Harass Mosque.

In Nablus, the march is scheduled to depart from Al-Nasr Mosque. In Tulkarm, events will begin at the New Mosque, and in Tubas, from the Al-Shaheed Mosque. In Jenin, national forces have called for a gathering after prayers near the Grand Jenin Mosque.

In Bethlehem, the march will start from Omar ibn al-Khattab Mosque, and in Jericho, from the Al-Abbasiya Mosque in Aqabat Jaber camp. The starting point in Salfit will be the Grand Mosque, and in Qalqilya, it will be the Martyr Abu Ali Iyad Square.

The calls have emphasized the need for a large turnout and widespread participation to express a unified popular stance against the continuous crimes against Gaza.

These demonstrations come as Israeli forces continue their destructive war in the Gaza Strip, intensifying the policy of starvation.

Daily deaths from malnutrition are rising in the territory, alongside the prevention of aid entry and the closure of crossings.

The ongoing massacres against civilians, as well as bombing and destruction operations, continue across various areas of Gaza.
