The Government of Change and Construction strongly condemned the brutal Israeli aggression that targeted the capital, Sanaa, this evening, describing it as a “heinous war crime.”
The government explained in a statement shortly thereafter that the attacks targeted vital facilities, including the Hizyaz power station, which supplies citizens’ homes and hospitals, resulting in widespread destruction and a total power outage.
The bombing also targeted a fuel station in an attempt to disrupt daily life and create chaos, according to the statement.
The government considered this attack a new episode in the chain of “Zionist criminality” and “a blatant aggression” against the sovereignty of Yemen and its people. It emphasized that this targeting comes in response to Yemen’s steadfast and supportive stance towards the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The statement held the Israeli enemy and its American partner fully responsible for the dire consequences of this attack, including losses in lives and property.
“This aggression proves that the Israeli enemy, with American support, is waging an open war against the Arab and Islamic nations,” the statement added.
