Israeli forces arrested 17 Palestinians during a series of raids across the occupied West Bank on Monday morning.
According to the Palestinian news agency Safa, 12 of the arrests were made in the Bethlehem governorate. Local sources reported that Israeli forces detained the brothers Iyad Habib Mousa Mohammed, 50, and Omar, 40, along with Saeed Osama Harmas, 39, and Yahya Hani Jado, 39, in Bethlehem city.
The forces also arrested brothers Numan Mohammed Jibran, 41, and Nader, 48, from al-Ubayyat, east of Bethlehem. Other arrests included Yasser Mahmoud Sabah, 42, from the town of Tuqu; Bassam Ibrahim al-Zeer, 43, and Ismail Khalil al-Zeer, 48, from the town of Jannatah.
In Beit Sahour, Israeli forces detained Hussam Mohammed Abu Dayyah, 47, and from the Jabal Hindaza area, they arrested the elderly Hassan Mohammed al-Wardian, 71, and his son Mahmoud, 48.
In Ramallah, Israeli forces arrested Amjad Abdullah Abu Aliya, 33, from the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of the city. According to security sources, soldiers raided and searched his home before detaining him.
An Israeli military force also entered several neighborhoods in Ramallah and al-Bireh, including Ein Minjad, al-Manara Square, Satah Marhaba, Umm al-Sharayet, and Jabal al-Tawil, but no raids or arrests were reported in those areas.
In Nablus, Israeli forces arrested Emad Ahmed Yassin after raiding and searching his home in the town of Asira al-Shamaliya.
In Qalqilya, forces arrested two men, Marwan Abd al-Fattah Daoud and Ahmed Shawar, after raiding and searching their homes.
On Sunday evening, Israeli forces had arrested Abd Ali Zakarna after raiding and searching his home in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
