President Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council, mourned the death of Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Construction, Ahmed Ghalib Al-Rahwi, and several of his companions who were killed in an Israeli strike last Thursday. He extended condolences to the victims’ families, the Yemeni people, and state institutions, hailing the fallen officials as examples of responsibility and service.
In his address, President Al-Mashat affirmed that Yemen’s institutions will continue their work and that the blood of the martyrs will only strengthen national steadfastness. He stressed that Yemen remains committed to supporting the people of Gaza, and vowed retaliation against Israel, warning that the enemy should expect “dark days” ahead.
Al-Mashat further called on global citizens to avoid dealings with Israeli assets and urged foreign companies operating in Israel to leave before it is too late, stating that the sacrifices of Yemeni leaders will fuel greater resistance and ensure that Israel “will no longer taste security.”
