The leader of the Revolution Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin Al-Houthi extended his congratulations to the Yemeni people and Muslims around the world on the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth, describing the occasion as unparalleled in its historical significance and as a foundation for truth and justice.
In a historic address on Thursday, Sayyed Abdul-Malik hailed the Yemeni people as “the land of faith, descendants of the Ansar, and a nation of love and reverence for the Prophet.” He emphasized that Yemen’s centuries-long tradition of commemorating the Prophet’s birth is unmatched globally and reflects the prophetic saying: “Faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni.”
Sayyed Abdul-Malik welcomed participants from Arab and Islamic communities, noting that Yemen’s celebrations reflect gratitude to Allah and joy in His blessings.
He stressed that through these observances, Yemenis express adherence to the Prophet’s teachings and resist any attempts to separate the Ummah from its messenger.
Highlighting the broader significance of the occasion, Sayyed Abdul-Malik said it serves to strengthen faith, awareness, resolve, and steadfastness, offering opportunities for charity and moral action. He praised Yemenis for continuing the legacy of their Ansar ancestors, who upheld Islam during critical historical moments, and said they remain committed to supporting the oppressed and confronting tyrants and their allies.
Sayyed Abdul-Malik warned that the greatest threat to the Islamic Ummah is complacency and deviation from core principles, which lead to decline.
He called on Muslims to resist the corruption and aggression of the Jews and others, reaffirming that adherence to the Quran and the Prophet’s guidance is the only path to success.
He stated that the Quran exposes the subversive role of the Jews and ensures their defeat through divine justice.
Sayyed Abdul-Malik concluded by asserting that true faith is manifested through jihad in the path of Allah, which remains the hallmark of a committed and principled Islamic Ummah.
