Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed on Tuesday that Yemen remains in full readiness to resume military operations and escalate actions should the Israeli enemy return to its aggression and blockade against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Delivering a televised address commemorating the martyrdom of Major General Mohammed Abdul Karim al-Ghamari, Sayyed Abdul-Malik called on Yemenis to continue monitoring developments in Palestine and the region, stressing that Yemen’s position is principled, faith-based, and non-negotiable.
“We remain in complete preparedness to return to operations and the highest levels of escalation if the Israeli enemy resumes its genocidal aggression and siege,” he declared, adding that Yemen “will never be silent at any stage” nor accept compromises on its Qur’anic, jihadist, and moral principles.
Readiness, Awareness, and Continued Mobilization
Sayyed Abdul-Malik emphasized that Yemen’s revolutionary movement will maintain its path with greater awareness, vigilance, and unity, noting that general mobilization efforts and the building of military capabilities will continue across all fronts.
He stated that the enemy’s ongoing crimes in Palestine, even after the recent truce in Lebanon, reveal Zionists’ “hatred, deception, and moral bankruptcy.” Such behavior, he said, reinforces the certainty of Yemen’s correct stance against the Zionist and American project.
The Leader of the Revolution described the current regional confrontation as “a sacred, inevitable struggle”, warning that ignoring Israeli enemy’s and American crimes offers no safety for the region’s people. He criticized Arab regimes that seek accommodation with the Zionist entity through so-called “peace initiatives,” saying these paths have failed for decades and only deepened the humiliation of their nations.
Yemen: Leading Arab Nation in Defense and Military Industry
Sayyed Abdul-Malik also praised Yemen’s Armed Forces for their faith-based identity, discipline, and battlefield achievements, asserting that Yemen has become the first Arab country in defense and military production.
“Thanks to Allah, Yemen today stands as the leading Arab nation in war production — from handguns and rifles to artillery, sniper weapons, drones, and ballistic missiles,” he said.
He added that missile and drone industries are in continuous development, reflecting the integration of faith education, Qur’anic culture, and professional military training. More than one million fighters, he noted, have been trained and mobilized through this comprehensive framework, combining spiritual and technical preparation.
Sayyed Abdul-Malik contrasted Yemen’s progress with the silence of Arab and Islamic armies, numbering more than 25 million personnel, who have failed to defend the Palestinian cause or stand against Western and Zionist aggression.
“Where are those armies — their commanders and their officers — at this most difficult stage for our Ummah?” he asked, asserting that only the Islamic Republic of Iran and the regional resistance forces have risen to the occasion.
Regional Deterrence and Strategic Gains
The Leader affirmed that Yemen has reached its strongest stage yet, both militarily and strategically, pointing to American and Israeli enemy failures in the Red Sea battles as evidence of Yemen’s growing deterrent power.
He said the United States suffered “a humiliating defeat” in naval confrontations, forcing the withdrawal of five aircraft carriers, while the Israeli enemy and Britain failed to destroy Yemen’s capabilities or force it to abandon its just position.
Sayyed Abdul-Malik urged the Yemeni people to continue building strength on the Qur’anic foundation of “Prepare for them what power you can,” reaffirming that the struggle against tyranny and injustice is both a divine duty and a guarantee of dignity in this world and the next.
Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi’s remarks come amid a period of heightened regional tension following the assassination of Major General Mohammed Abdul Karim al-Ghamari, Yemen’s Chief of Staff, in US-Israeli airstrikes. His martyrdom has galvanized Yemen’s internal unity and reinforced its alignment with the regional Axis of Resistance, which includes movements and states opposing Zionist and American influence in the region.
