The leader of Yemen’s revolution detailed the unprecedented and sustained military and popular campaign supporting Gaza, citing hundreds of operations and mass rallies, while calling for a major new mobilization.
In his speech on Thursday marking the second anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi dedicated a portion of his Thursday speech to the Yemeni front supporting Gaza, affirming that the movement in this support front began from the start with a spirit of initiative rooted in the Islamic faith and the Yemeni people.
He explained that the distinguishing features of the Yemeni support front are its comprehensive movement, both officially and popularly, at the highest level, with steadfastness and continuity despite the distance and complexities. Sayyid Abdul-Malik noted that the popular momentum in Yemen was at an unparalleled level globally, unprecedented even in the history of the people, the region, and the world.
He stated, “We have not known such a level of public mobilization and popular momentum with this enormous number of million-person demonstrations every week,” highlighting that alongside the million-person marches were vigils, seminars, and the military mobilization track, which is among the most important tracks.
Sayyid Abdul-Malik outlined that the people moved to support at the military level, and Yemen’s decision to ban navigation for the Israeli enemy in the Red Sea towards the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea was a historic decision. The stance of the naval blockade on the enemy enjoyed divine approval and great victory from God, achieving 100% success in it.
He emphasized that the decision to ban navigation for the Israeli enemy is a great achievement and a major success with strategic importance in the conflict with the Israeli enemy, confirming the success in preventing navigation for the enemy and effectively targeting ships carrying supplies and goods to it, sinking some of them and targeting a large number. A state of complete and successful blockade was imposed on the Israeli enemy at sea.
The leader continued, “Despite the many obstacles our operations with missiles and drones faced en route to occupied Palestine, they continued successfully and impacted the enemy.”
He noted that their missile and drone operations encountered five protective belts before reaching occupied Palestine, and inside it, there are layers of protection prepared by the Israeli enemy in partnership with America. He affirmed that their missile and drone operations continued successfully, impacting the Israeli enemy and forcing millions of settlers to flee to shelters.
“Our missile and drone operations affected the enemy’s air navigation traffic and ended the operations of many international airlines. Our missile and drone operations significantly impacted the economic situation, and the naval blockade greatly affected the Israeli enemy’s economy and completely disabled the port of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat).”
He noted that disabling the port of Umm al-Rashrash had a real, clear, and confirmed impact on the Israeli economy.
Sayyid Abdul-Malik explained that Yemen’s operations broke the equation that the Americans wanted to impose on the nation by preventing any supportive movement for the Palestinian people.
He affirmed that the people, within their stance, faced rounds of American, British, and Israeli aggression against them, remained steadfast, and offered sacrifices. The Israeli enemy failed to achieve all its goals and succeeded only in presenting itself to the world as a criminal and brutal entity.
Sayyid Abdul-Malik highlighted that the people held firm and offered sacrifices at all levels, up to the “government of martyrs,” and that the people remained steadfast, unshaken, facing wars and economic conspiracies that targeted even the humanitarian level. The country withstood the massive media campaign targeting it to cast doubt on its stance and the psychological warfare to pressure and influence its position, noting that Arab regimes employed all their media tools to support the Israeli stance and target the Yemeni stance, but they failed miserably.
He added that the security conspiracies targeting the country and its people failed to affect its supportive stance for Gaza, and the people held firm greatly and thwarted conspiracies aimed at destabilizing its social fabric under many deceptive titles.
The leader provided statistics for Yemeni operations over two years of supporting Gaza, confirming they reached 1,835 operations, including ballistic, winged, and hypersonic missiles, drones, and naval vessels. He noted that the statistics of their operations are significant compared to the people’s circumstances, economic capabilities, and the conditions of 10 years of war and siege.
He indicated that the popular activities in the country over two years were great and immense, reaching 49,354 marches and demonstrations. Over two years, popular events reached 94,478, seminars 549,769, and evening gatherings 81,878, while student vigils in universities and schools in the country were a unique phenomenon at the Arab and Islamic world level, reaching 350,633.
Sayyid Abdul-Malik pointed out that popular, tribal, and community vigils reached 317,785, and 1,103,647 trainees graduated from the “Al-Aqsa Flood” courses in the mobilization track, with the second level of mobilization courses reaching 132,046 trainees, along with 5,148 maneuvers, 1,349 military displays, and 3,362 military marches.
He noted that the momentum of activities and movement in the country is unparalleled in supporting the Palestinian people, and the people have held to their stance with great steadfastness, unshaken, undefeated, unrelenting, unwavering, unflagging, and unwearying, continuing with immense and huge momentum and high vitality.
Sayyid Abdul-Malik affirmed that the people set out with Quranic awareness within a framework of great work and sacred jihad in the path of God, confronting the enslavement of this nation.
The leader added that the people are well aware that the battle is the battle of the entire nation, that the danger targets everyone, and that the Zionist scheme aims to enslave all peoples. The people understand that the equation of violating blood, honor, wealth, sanctities, religion, and identity is a dangerous, satanic equation, and accepting it means forfeiting human dignity, faith-based honor, freedom, and independence.
He explained that the people did not accept the equation of violation; they held firm, endured, offered sacrifices, grew in awareness, and developed military capabilities.
The people today, as a fruit of this stance, are stronger than at any previous stage, in terms of military capabilities, awareness, faith, reality, steadfastness, and in the solid construction of their situation. He affirmed that they always strive for their path in support and backing to be escalating and stronger, noting that work is diligent day and night to develop military capabilities and confront whatever new developments the enemy introduces in its techniques and military capabilities.
Call for Major Mobilization
Sayyid Abdul-Malik renewed his call to the Yemeni people to come out in mass rallies to affirm steadfastness in the stance, and continuation of the supportive momentum, adding that tomorrow should be a very great outing and a crowning of two years of the general mobilization of the people.
He explained that their capabilities have advanced on all levels, and their presence on the global stage resonates with faith-based honor and the consolidation of liberation and independence, noting that the people’s stance is an exit from the burdens of American hegemony and control, embodying faith-based honor and human dignity.
The leader emphasized, “We are in an important and great stage, and support for the Palestinian people, even in pressuring for the implementation of the agreement, is an issue of utmost importance.”
He continued, “We will monitor and observe the events, and we will have commentary and stances towards any new development that requires it. We are in constant monitoring during these days, with continuous follow-up and full coordination with our Palestinian brothers, at the level of the Axis, and with the free people of the world.”
