The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, described the massacres committed by the Israeli army last night as horrific, demanding that Israel comply with its obligations under international humanitarian law.
In a press statement, Türk said that reports of over 100 Palestinians killed overnight, most of them children and women, in a wave of Israeli airstrikes that primarily targeted residential buildings, tents of displaced people, and schools across the Gaza Strip, are horrifying.
