Gaza’s Government Media Office: 357 Palestinians Killed, 903 Wounded In 591 Israeli Ceasefire Violations

The Government Media Office (GMO) in the Gaza Strip said Sunday that 357 Palestinian civilians — most of them children, women, and the elderly — have been killed and 903 others wounded as a result of Israeli violations of the ceasefire in the territory.

In a statement seen by the Yemen News Agency (SABA), the GMO reported that 591 Israeli violations had been recorded by Saturday evening, describing them as a flagrant breach of international humanitarian law and the humanitarian protocol associated with the ceasefire.

The GMO explained that the violations included 164 direct gunfire shootings, 25 ground incursions, 280 land, air and artillery strikes, and 118 demolitions of homes and civilian structures.

The government media office strongly condemned the violations and held the Israeli occupation responsible for their humanitarian and security consequences.

It called on the United States, mediator states, and the UN Security Council to take immediate action to stop the attacks and compel Israel to comply with the ceasefire.
