Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank, and Syria.
In a statement issued on Friday, the ministry denounced the Israeli enemy’s repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement through “ongoing acts of genocide” against civilians in Gaza, as well as its escalating aggression in the West Bank, including the recent killing of two Palestinians in the city of Jenin.
The statement also highlighted the growing wave of settler violence targeting Palestinian civilians and their property.
The ministry further condemned the latest Israeli enemy operation in Syria, which involved an incursion into the town of Beit Jinn in rural Damascus, accompanied by attacks on residents and their property that resulted in multiple civilian casualties, including women and children.
According to the statement, the Israeli enemy’s actions in Syria represent a “flagrant violation of the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Syria,” and run counter to the UN Charter and all international norms, covenants, and legal frameworks.
The Foreign Ministry praised the residents of Beit Jinn for their “brave resistance,” which forced Israeli enemy forces to retreat, noting that the Israeli enemy “continues its attempts to destroy Syria’s capabilities, seize more territory, and pursue malicious objectives within Syria.”
The statement reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast position in support of the Palestinian and Syrian peoples and its commitment to standing with them against the ongoing Israeli aggression.
