A source close to the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), revealed that the assassination of Yasser Abu Shabab on Thursday was carried out in a well-executed ambush by the Brigades inside the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to Quds Press, the source explained that the operation was carried out by a young man from the Abu Shabab clan who feigned a desire to join the armed group led by Yasser Abu Shabab, before meticulously executing the plan and eliminating him along with several of his companions.
