Al-Qassam Brigades Announces Martyrdom of its Chief of Staff and Several Senior Commanders

Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced the martyrdom of its Chief of Staff, Muhammad Sinwar, and several senior commanders who were killed in action on the battlefield and in command and control centers while carrying out their leadership roles in confronting the Zionist enemy during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle.

 

The new spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, said in a televised address: “We mourn the great leader Muhammad Sinwar, the chief of staff of the Qassam Brigades, and the great leader Muhammad Shabana (Abu Anas), the commander of the Rafah Brigade, who was martyred along with the great leader Muhammad Sinwar (Abu Ibrahim), and the great leader, Hakam Al-Issa, the commander of the weapons and combat services branch, who was known in Lebanon, Syria and various countries before settling in Gaza, and the great leader, the martyred Sheikh Raed Saad (Abu Muadh), the commander of the manufacturing branch in the Qassam Brigades and its former commander of operations, and the spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, “Abu Ubaida,” by his real name, Hudhaifa Samir Abdullah Al-Kahlout (Abu Ibrahim), the commander of military media, and the former spokesman for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.”
