The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Saturday, that the number of fatalities resulting from the recent cold front in the Gaza Strip has risen to 13 cases after the passing of an infant.
According to the Palestine Today agency, health officials confirmed that the one-month-old infant, Saeed Asaad Abdeen, died due to the severe low-pressure system and extreme cold currently gripping the region.
The deaths occur despite a ceasefire agreement that went into effect on October 10, following two consecutive years of a genocidal war. However, the ministry noted that the Israeli enemy army continues to commit daily violations of the agreement and persists in blocking the entry of the majority of humanitarian aid into the Strip.
