The Government of Change and Construction condemned the Zionist enemy’s declaration of recognition of Somaliland as a separate entity, deeming it an extremely dangerous act of aggression targeting the Arab and Islamic world as a whole, the Republic of Somalia in particular, and the Red Sea littoral states, including Yemen.
In a statement issued regarding the developments in the sisterly Republic of Somalia, the Government of Change and Construction affirmed the solidarity of the Yemeni government and people with the sisterly Republic of Somalia in the face of this serious Zionist violation of its sovereignty.
The government reiterated its support for the unity and territorial integrity of Somalia and pledged to assist it in every possible way to preserve this, clarifying that the Zionist entity is illegitimate and represents the most hated entity in the world, and that its recognition of any entity does not alter the realities on the ground.
The statement read, “The Republic of Yemen affirms that it will not permit any activity by the Zionist enemy in the territory of Somaliland and will take all necessary measures to defend the Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Yemen, and the security and safety of the entire region, including military options if the need arises.”
The Government of Change and Construction called upon Arab and Islamic countries, especially those bordering the Red Sea, to move beyond mere statements and take serious and practical action to prevent these dangerous trends targeting the entire region.
It emphasized the importance of genuine, sincere, and tangible efforts by the countries and governments of the region to confront and deter the Zionist aggression and arrogance, supported by the United States, within their declared “New Middle East” project.
The statement clarified that Arab inaction, complacency, complicity, and silence are the ammunition the Zionist enemy relies on to expand its crimes and encroach upon the sovereignty and dignity of the region’s countries, it is in everyone’s interest today to deter this aggression in its infancy before it spreads to other countries.
