Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem has accused the Israeli occupation army of persisting in its ceasefire violations in the Gaza Strip by targeting shelters and displacement camps and killing civilians, according to the Palestinian Information Center .
In a statement on Wednesday, spokesman Qasem said that the occupation army had recently launched attacks outside the yellow line area, killing and wounding several civilians in the central district of Gaza City and fatally targeting a journalist in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.
“The criminal occupation’s ongoing killings, destruction of homes, forced displacement of citizens, and restrictions on aid confirm that this enemy persists in its genocidal war on our people in the Gaza Strip, with less intensity but unchanged goals,” the spokesman underlined.
He urged the mediators, who brokered the ceasefire agreement, to take serious action to put an end to these violations and pressure the Israeli occupation regime to abide by its obligations and stop its aggression.
