ICC rejects Israeli request to halt Gaza war investigation

The International Criminal Court (ICC) on Monday rejected another appeal by Israel to stop the court’s investigation into crimes committed during its war on the Gaza Strip.

ICC judges denied a lower court’s decision to halt the ICC’s investigation into crimes within its jurisdiction, according to Reuters.

This ruling means the investigation will continue, and the arrest warrants issued last year against the wanted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant remain in effect.
