Save the Children has stated that Israel’s new rules for registering international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are undermining the delivery of life-saving humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
In a post on its X platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the international organization called on Israel to urgently reconsider its new registration rules for international NGOs.
It emphasized that these new rules are hindering the delivery of life-saving humanitarian aid to Gaza and the West Bank.
A ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10th, following a two-year-long Israeli offensive. However, the Israeli army continues to violate the agreement daily and is still preventing the entry of most humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
