Professor of Public International Law and member of the American and European Societies of International Law, Mohammed Mehran, condemned the Israeli Knesset’s approval of a draft resolution prohibiting the provision of basic services such as water and electricity to the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
In a statement to the Palestinian news agency Shihab, Mehran described the Israeli decision as a systematic act of genocide and deliberate starvation targeting millions of Palestinian refugees.
