Israeli forces assault Palestinian farmer east of Nablus in occupied West Bank

The Israeli army assaulted a Palestinian farmer on Saturday while he was working his land in the village of Salem, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The head of the Salem village council, Adli Ishtayeh, stated that a number of farmers from the village went to a plain on the outskirts of Salem to plant wheat in the morning, only to be surprised by an Israeli incursion into the area, preventing them from planting.

Ishtayeh explained to Sanad News Agency that the army assaulted farmer Qasim Jabour and prevented the farmers from completing their work.
