Israeli settlers raid Al-Aqsa Mosque under police protection

121 Israeli settlers raided on Tuesday Al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy Israeli police protection, performing Talmudic prayers in its courtyards.

The Islamic Awqaf Department said the raid occurred in two sessions: 59 in the morning and 62 after noon prayer, entering via the Moroccan Gate in successive groups with police escort.

The raids continue repeated violations of the mosque’s sanctity. In November, 4,266 settlers and 15,220 foreign tourists entered Al-Aqsa, according to Al-Quds Governorate data.
