Kyiv City Administration: More than 2,600 residential buildings in city without heating after Russian attack

The Kyiv City Administration announced on Saturday that heating was cut off to more than 2,600 residential buildings, 187 kindergartens, and 138 schools in the Ukrainian capital following a Russian attack overnight.

 

Temperatures in Kyiv hovered around freezing on Saturday morning. Authorities in the Kyiv region, which surrounds but is not part of the capital, said, according to Reuters, that electricity was cut off to 320,000 households after the attack.
