The Palestinian Prisoners Club announced that more than 100 Palestinian detainees were killed in 2025, either inside Israeli prisons or after being transferred to hospitals.
The club reported that 86 identities have been confirmed, including 32 this year, while dozens remain under enforced disappearance. Israel continues to hold the bodies of 94 prisoners, 83 of them post-mortem.
2025 marked a severe phase of systematic crimes against prisoners, with Israeli prisons used as sites of torture and slow execution, according to documented testimonies and statements by Israeli officials, including Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
West Bank institutions documented nearly 21,000 arrests this year, including 1,655 children and 650 women, not counting thousands in Gaza or hundreds in territories occupied in 1948. Journalists and medical workers were also heavily targeted, with 217 journalists arrested and over 360 medical personnel detained, alongside multiple killings.
