The Palestinian Resistance Committees condemned the Palestinian Authority’s decision to cut the salaries of Palestinian martyrs and prisoners two years after the genocide, describing it as a stab in the back, a betrayal of fundamental national principles, and a direct attack on the dignity and resilience of their families.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Committees said, “The salaries of martyrs and prisoners are not a favor from anyone, but an inherent right and duty. Cutting them is an alignment with the policies of the Zionist enemy and a response to the directives of the extremist Zionist right-wing government, which aims to delegitimize and punish the families of martyrs and prisoners. This demonstrates the Authority’s subservience to external dictates at the expense of its national, moral, and ethical duty towards the families of martyrs and prisoners.”
