Reporters Without Borders: 67 Journalists Killed Worldwide In One Year, Half In Gaza

Reporters Without Borders released its annual “black” report on Tuesday, detailing the state of press freedom and the safety of journalists worldwide. The report reveals tragic figures reflecting the scale of the dangers faced by those who report the truth in conflict zones.

The report, published on the organization’s official website, shows that 67 journalists were killed worldwide last year, nearly half of them in the Gaza Strip.

The international organization holds the Israeli occupation army directly responsible for the deaths of these journalists while they were covering the bloody events there, indicating a systematic targeting aimed at silencing the voices of the press in Gaza and the West Bank.
