The Somali community residing in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, organized a large protest rally on Tuesday, voicing strong condemnation of the Israeli enemy conspiracies threatening Somalia’s unity and sovereignty.
In a statement issued during the rally, participants framed current regional dynamics as a “malicious alliance” aimed at enabling “Zionist entity” influence over Somali sovereignty through regional tools.
They emphasized that Somalis of all backgrounds stand united against this “arrogance and suspicious projects” targeting the stability of the entire region.
The statement asserted that attempts to plant Zionist influence in Somalia represent a “scorn for all the values of the nation and Islam,” necessitating an urgent and powerful move by the “free people of the nation” to crush this conspiracy in its cradle.
A significant portion of the statement expressed profound gratitude towards the leadership in Yemen. Participants extended their “greatest thanks and appreciation” to the “revolutionary leadership in Yemen represented by Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi,” describing him as the “banner of this nation and the leader of its salvation.”
They praised the consistent and principled stance of the Yemeni people in supporting Somali territorial unity, crediting them with embodying the meanings of sincere brotherhood by standing with the oppressed in Gaza and Palestine and confronting “Zionist-American tyranny.”
The rally directed strong messages to the Somali domestic audience and the international community. It called on the Somali Federal Government to rise to its national and constitutional responsibilities in protecting the country’s unity and preventing any assault on its territory under any name.
It also warned against falling for the “conspiracy of the criminal Netanyahu” and his allies, which aims to turn Somali coastlines into bases of threat for the nation.
Participants affirmed that “the wound is one and the enemy is one,” and that victory for Somalia’s sovereignty is part of the victory for Gaza and breaking American hegemony.
They stated they would never accept being part of “misleading projects” targeting the region, placing their bet on the awareness of the peoples and their cohesion with Yemeni People.
