An Israeli patrol entered the village of Umm Batna in the Quneitra countryside of southern Syria.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on its website that the patrol set up a checkpoint between Umm Batna and Jaba in the central Quneitra countryside and searched passersby, though no arrests were reported.
