Ten crew members of the “Interest Sea” ship departed Sana’a International Airport on Wednesday afternoon, who were rescued by the Yemeni Navy last July after the ship sank while attempting to break the Yemeni blockade on Israeli ports in support of Gaza against the Israeli aggression.
The departing crew received commemorative gifts for themselves and their families at the end of their five months as guests of Yemen, not as detainees.
The crew expressed their gratitude to the Yemeni Navy and the Yemeni authorities for the care they received and for maintaining contact with their families throughout their stay.
An Omani plane had previously transported dozens of stranded individuals, including the sick and wounded, back to Yemen.
