UNRWA: Law to Cut Off Water, Electricity to Agency Headquarters Unprecedented Step in Our Elimination

UNRWA Media Advisor Adnan Abu Hasna stated on Saturday that the new law passed by the Israeli Knesset prohibiting the provision of electricity and water services to properties registered in the agency’s name is part of “continued pressure on UNRWA.”

He added in a statement to the Palestinian news agency Safa: “Israel has obstructed the educational process in Jerusalem, closing six schools with thousands of students, and is preventing international agency staff from accessing the West Bank and Gaza.”
