Yemen’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Expatriates Affairs, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, met today with Fawzi Hasan – Head of Field Offices at the Qatar Charity, to discuss aspects of cooperation between Yemen and the organization and ways to enhance and develop it.
During the meeting, Abu Ras praised Qatar Charity’s humanitarian role in Yemen and stressed the need to intensify efforts to meet growing needs and alleviate the suffering caused by the ongoing aggression, blockade, and hostile policies.
He reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to facilitating the charity’s operations and removing field obstacles.
For his part, Fawzi Hasan commended the support and facilitation provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government bodies, stressing that the organization will continue providing all possible forms of humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni people.
