The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Sana’a, Abdulwahid Abu Ras has reaffirmed the long-standing historical relations between Yemen and Russia, praising Moscow’s “balanced positions” regarding Yemen at the UN Security Council.
In a video call on Tuesday with Russia’s Ambassador to Yemen, Yevgeny Kudrov, Abu Ras commended Russia’s approach.
At the same time, the Russian envoy stressed his country’s commitment to supporting peace efforts in Yemen and ending the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people.
