Member of Yemen’s National Delegation Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri said any political settlement in Yemen remains impossible as long as foreign intervention continues, stressing that a solution requires the complete withdrawal of all foreign forces and an end to hostile policies by neighboring countries.
In a post on his X account, Al-Ajri said recent developments have proven that seeking external involvement has only further complicated the Yemeni crisis, noting that the UAE’s withdrawal alone is insufficient unless it is followed by the withdrawal of all remaining foreign forces.
He added that no neighboring country can lead a solution or mediation while it is directly involved in the aggression as a party, emphasizing that neutrality is a prerequisite for any credible political role.
Al-Ajri also warned that Yemeni forces continuing to search for solutions in foreign capitals will not find them, underscoring that any genuine resolution must be Yemeni-led and rooted inside the country.
