Palestinian infant Haitham Abu Qass, just 12 days old, died from exposure to the extreme cold inside his tent in the Gaza Strip.
According to a post on the hospital’s Facebook page, which was reviewed by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) on Monday, the infant arrived at the neonatal intensive care unit of Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital already deceased, the post confirmed that the child had no underlying health conditions but was simply suffering from a lack of warmth, a victim of the harsh cold and a tent that offered no protection to a small life.
