Amnesty International warned today, Tuesday, about the repercussions of the military operation carried out by the U.S. administration under President Donald Trump in Venezuela, which resulted in the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.
The organization noted in a post on X, as reported by the Yemen News Agency (SABA), that the operation raises serious concerns regarding the human rights of the Venezuelan people.
Amnesty International also stated that the operation is likely a violation of international law, including the United Nations Charter.
