Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Friday that more than 3,000 people were killed as a result of the recent terrorist attacks in the country.
Araghchi wrote in a post on X, “The total number of deaths has reached 3,117, including 2,427 civilians and security personnel, and 690 terrorists.”
He indicated that the recent terrorist attacks resulted in the destruction of 305 ambulances and buses, 24 gas stations, 700 small shops, and 300 private homes.
He added that the attacks also led to the destruction of 750 banks, 414 government buildings, 749 police stations, 120 bus depots, 200 schools, 350 mosques, and 15 libraries.
He noted that the riots in Iran resulted in damage to two Armenian churches, 253 bus stations, 600 ATMs, and 800 private cars.
