The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi, said that the current time is not suitable for negotiations with the United States of America, attributing this to Washington’s policies.
Araqchi added in press statements today, Wednesday, on the sidelines of the Iranian Cabinet meeting: “We have never left the negotiating table, and we have always been ready for negotiations based on mutual interests and mutual respect, but the current American administration does not follow this approach,” according to the official Iranian news agency.
In response to claims raised outside Iran regarding internal protests, Araqchi emphasized that Iran’s internal affairs concern no one but the Iranian people, and any remarks or protests will be dealt with in a manner that leads to solutions through interaction between the government and the people.
He expressed optimism that this would be achieved, affirming that no foreign country has any business with Iran’s internal affairs.
