China has reaffirmed its commitment to the international order based on the United Nations system, responding to a statement by US President Donald Trump suggesting that the “Peace Council” he is forming could replace the UN.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiajun told a press conference in Beijing that China has always stood for multilateralism, according to Anadolu Agency.
